BYE TO NAN
Nan has left us this summer. She was becoming very frail, it was hard for her to tickle my ears but she still loved to see me as much as possible, she always smiled when I came in the room. We are all going to miss her very much, but she was 93 and not enjoying her life anymore. I suppose there comes a time when we are all just ready to move on.

ReplyDeleteMy mother is 97 this August...she had a hip replacement two years ago, a knee replacement last year and this summer she managed to come with me to visit our new house in Spain.
She lives for the day, but she would have loved to have a hairy black dog to have loved her.
You are so lucky, you don't realise just how much you miss someone until they are gone.
